Aruvi News - London Based Sri Lankan News Platform
Comprehensive digital news platform serving the Sri Lankan community in London with real-time updates and community engagement
About This Project
Aruvi News is a comprehensive digital news platform developed using WordPress and Elementor, specifically designed to serve the Sri Lankan diaspora community in London. This feature-rich news website includes advanced content management, community engagement tools, advertising solutions, and custom branding elements to create a professional news portal that connects the Sri Lankan community with both local and international news.
The Challenge
The publisher needed a high-volume news website for Sri Lankan readers in London, with room for breaking stories, community notices, obituaries, events and advertising. Editors required a familiar workflow that could support frequent updates and multiple content formats.
Our Approach
We used WordPress and Elementor to create reusable editorial layouts, clear categories and advertising positions. Social sharing, author profiles, newsletter tools, comments and multilingual content support were planned as parts of the publishing workflow rather than isolated additions.
Delivered Solution
The platform gives the editorial team a structured place to publish local, Sri Lankan and international coverage while supporting community and commercial content. Readers can move between timely stories and recurring sections through responsive navigation and consistent article templates.
