How to Estimate a Web Project Cost in Sri Lanka

A credible web-project estimate is based on scope, uncertainty, quality requirements, and responsibility. Two projects described as “a business website” can differ greatly when one uses approved text and a simple enquiry form while another needs multilingual content, product imports, payments, customer accounts, integrations, and ongoing support.

Define the project type

Start by classifying the outcome: marketing website, content publication, online store, booking service, customer portal, internal system, or web application. State the priority users and the action the product must enable.

Separate design and content work
